Tammy is CEO of the Vennue Foundation. She founded Vennue with the vision of improving health care in developing countries by advancing the role of pharmacy services in patient care. Tammy’s career in global health has focused on innovation of new approaches to safeguard patients and improve health outcomes in low-resource settings. She is a member of the Population Council's Institutional Review Board ensuring the protection of human subjects in clinical trials and research studies. Previously Tammy was Director of Asia and Eurasia Programs at AmeriCares where she led the strategic expansion of regional health care programs. Prior to AmeriCares she was Special Assistant to the President of the Population Council.
Tammy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia and a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University, where the US State Department awarded her a Foreign Language and Area Studies Fellowship for the region of East Asia.
