Sovanrith Phalla is Program Manager for Vennue in his home country of Cambodia. Based in the capital city of Phnom Penh, he holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Puthisastra.

Sovanrith was hired in January 2020 to initiate Vennue’s pharmacy training programs in his home country of Cambodia. As a result of his extraordinary leadership, Vennue is now well-established as a recognized partner for pharmacy workforce strengthening in Cambodia’s private and public sectors.
Based in Phnom Penh, Sovanrith owns and manages a community pharmacy while working full-time for Vennue. He holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from the University of Puthisastra, where he is currently pursuing his Master’s Degree of Pharmaceutical Sciences in Medication and Public Health.
Prior to Vennue, Sovanrith worked at University of Puthisastra (UP) where he provided technical training to pharmacy graduates before they advanced to their first clinical posts in Cambodia and other Southeast Asian countries.
