Leadership and Advocacy

Vennue is moving the spotlight to frontline workers. We are building evidence and promoting change by identifying the challenges facing the pharmacy workforce and by advocating for equitable access to healthcare resources.

We are collecting unprecedented data on the practice of pharmacy in low-income countries, which enables us to map the challenges and respond.

Information collected through our qualitative and quantitative surveys provides a unique window into their professional needs. This information allows us to customize our programs – and to promote change at various levels – so that policies are relevant, responsive, and up to date.

Roundtable: Reimagining Mental Health Care

Vennue is a global pioneer in training pharmacy professionals to be frontline mental health advocates. We are shifting the primary care model to safeguard the well-being of healthcare workers and patients in developing regions.

The First Link in the Diagnostic Chain
Our curriculum equips pharmacists with the tools for early detection, safe medication management, and empathetic counseling. By integrating mental health into pharmacy practice, we normalize care and dismantle cultural stigmas within local communities.

Expert-Led Dialogue
To launch our Mental Healthcare + Pharmacy program, we hosted a four-part Roundtable series featuring international medical experts and frontline clinicians to address:

  • Early Intervention: Recognizing signs of mental illness in a pharmacy setting.

  • Stigma Reduction: Fostering inclusive and supportive patient environments.

  • Workforce Resilience: Supporting the mental well-being of healthcare providers.

By connecting global expertise with local practice, these sessions reinforce Vennue’s commitment to evidence-based, compassionate care.
